Kuang Ming (Ray) Chou grounds his work in Eastern aesthetics, combined with contemporary design logic and a structural way of thinking rooted in traditional Chinese frameworks. His approach seeks to establish spatial systems that can endure within evolving brand contexts.
With extensive experience in branded hotel development, he engages not only in spatial design, but also in building and evolving brand spatial systems. Working across multiple hotel brands, he has led the development of modular design and standardized systems, enabling consistency and efficiency across large-scale implementation.
Over two decades, he has collaborated closely with clients to advance spatial strategies and system thinking, ensuring that design solutions remain effective through long-term operation and repeated use.

Vera Chu’s lighting design centers on human comfort, integrating light as a fundamental component of spatial experience and system logic. Her approach combines international training with a nuanced understanding of cultural context.
In large-scale and brand-driven projects, she leads the development of lighting modules and standards, shaping adaptable lighting systems across guestrooms, public areas, and transitional spaces to ensure consistency and coherence.
Through a restrained and layered use of light, her work extends beyond atmosphere, contributing to spatial identity, reinforcing brand recognition, and supporting long-term operational needs.
Garvin Hung

Garvin Hung brings extensive experience in commercial and hospitality projects, with an international background spanning leading design firms in Hong Kong and Germany. He has led and contributed to a wide range of large-scale commercial and hotel developments.
His work includes complex, high-traffic environments as well as large public projects, where he developed strong capabilities in coordination, technical integration, and multi-party collaboration.
At Vermilion Zhou Design Group, he oversees design development, technical coordination, and project delivery. His role ensures that design intent is accurately translated into built outcomes, maintaining consistency and execution quality across diverse project types.
