green beauty
Opening Date|Nov. 2025, Address|CPIC XINTIANDI
Amid the density and noise of the mall, we created a place where time gently slows down — "green beauty". Inspired by Venus, the goddess of beauty and rebirth, the space translates the timeless dialogue among classicism, humanity, and nature into a spatial language. From the moment visitors step inside, they encounter a sense of quiet separation from the outside world.
Classicism: establishing order and rhythm within the space
From vaulted ceilings and gentle curves to vertical lines, we drew upon classical architectural language to construct a stable spatial framework. Low-saturation materials quiet the visual field, while light glides along the arches, creating a luminance softened as if by time itself. The atmosphere avoids grandeur, favoring instead a sense of calm—one that feels as though it stands within the continuity of the eternal.
Humanity: bringing emotional depth into the experience
Treatment rooms named after Greek goddesses guide guests into distinct inner states. Venus helps one rediscover confidence and radiance; Luna offers a moonlit sense of stillness; Flora rekindles a gentle expansion of life. These symbolic narratives allow the treatment to reach beyond the skin, touching the emotional realm—like a page of poetry turned by a quiet breeze.
Nature: present in its most restrained form
Rather than relying on greenery, the space restores nature’s rhythm through light, gradients, and tactile gentleness. Soft illumination recalls early morning light settling on delicate textures; colour gradients shift like a slowly changing sky. Through a vocabulary of minimalism, nature’s healing presence enters the room subtly, allowing emotions to settle without conscious effort.
The healing begins the moment one enters. The circulation is designed as a sequence of transitions: from entrance to lounge, sound gradually recedes, and light softens. The density of air, the scale of the corridor, and the lightness of fabric partitions quietly guide the body toward ease—steps slow down, voices soften.
Ultimately, green beauty becomes a silent yet resolute “modern sanctuary” within a bustling commercial environment—using restraint and delicacy to accompany each visitor through an inward reset and renewal, allowing beauty to permeate both body and mind, and return to its most authentic state.
